Step 5: Be ready to learn new strategies at the Oct. 26th session. You will post a final reflection about new strategies you learned and later tried during the post-meeting assignments (Post-program Step 6). Your post should be personal yet not identify yourself or any students you are working with personally. Instead, your public post/blog will outlined strategies and insights that might help others better serve at-risk and emotionally challenged youth.

Step 1: Watch TED Talk Video: Every kid needs a champion
Step 2: Share your reaction, learning, and response from The Domino Effect Program-Click HERE to enter your reactions (Note: click the green + to post your video response)-Note: If you cannot get FlipGrid to work please email your responses to [email protected] Your response will be public to current and future program participants.
Step 3: Complete online poll question (click on your answer below)
Step 4: Develop and carry out your plan to intervene with previously identified at-risk youth using any new insight, strategy or inspiration you gathered from The Domino Effect Program.
Step 5: Present new strategies, new interventions, or updated MTSS plan to your colleagues. Share presentations and/or documents with course facilitators by email (if you so choose) at [email protected] or [email protected] (Please indicate whether or not you mind these resources being shared with others on the website or wish to keep them private.)
Step 6: After trying a new intervention(s) with your previously identified youth and reflecting on how it went, post your reflection for others to learn from. Please do not post student names to the blog. Double click on the webpage to start your post. (Post to public blog)
NOTE: Your final grade (Graduate or license renewal) will be posted 2-4 weeks after the conclusion of the course.
